We are Flower Jar, est. 2011.
We are Angie & Rhiannon, both real-life florists, with a lot of love and creativity to share with Melbourne & beyond. Way back in 2011 (after many years of us both flowering in Melbourne and London) we started this amazing, fun, creative, sometimes stressful (in the best kinda way) FLOWER jar journey together. We decided that 2 flowery heads are waaay better than one (and a lot less lonely!) so Fj was realised.
Inspired by the temperamental Victorian seasons, lush foliage, luxe and textured blooms and creative use of eclectic vessels.
FLOWER jar is about flowering unique and gorgeous events. An effortless and enjoyable experience with no small detail overlooked.
Some things you should know about us.
Our style is layered and natural. Luxe, with a textural and unexpected twist. And our 20+ years experience each (we started young!) lends itself to adaptability and flexibility with the skills to tailor your vague flowery inspirations into perfectly amazing, real-life creations, big or small.
We are wedding & event specialists, and we love working with our amazing clients and couples to flower a bespoke event, each and every time.

Some things you should know about Flower jar.
We are working hard toward being an environmentally friendly, future proof small business. We have in the last few years implemented green waste and soft plastics recycling, (in addition to the regular cardboard and plastics!), and are working our way to a floral-foam-free future.
We try to minimise the use of bleached, and preserved imported elements, and as much as possible choose local over imported blooms. (We have the ACTUAL best suppliers, growers and wholesalers in Melbourne on our team!). But we do recognise there is a time, place and style that sometimes requires these elements and there are some blooms that just are not grown nearby!
